About Iron Ox Films

Iron Ox Films was created by Mackenzie Oxford in the winter of 2011. I found my passion for filming when I was attending community college. My group of friends were really into Whitest Kids U' Know and decided "we could do this!" so we started doing comedy sketches for YouTube. After a while, most of the group decided to part ways leaving me and two remaining guys. I decided to continue my learning in the cinema realm by earning my Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Media Communications from George Fox University.

Near the end of my schooling, I knew that I wanted to continue making videos for others, so I decided to start Iron Ox Films. I started out by creating short promotional videos for free, then decided that it was time to start getting paid to do what I love. I have experience with clients and have finished more than 60 short films and continue to learn and increase my experience, knowledge and talent daily.
